In 2020, the Cyprus Institute of Neurology and Genetics celebrated 30 years of activity, during which it became an important centre for the research and treatment of neurological and genetic diseases in Cyprus. The institute plays a key role in the development of medicine in the region and is recognised for its pioneering results. A €2 coin in BU quality was issued for the occasion and is carefully housed in a commemorative card.
