In June 1940, General Charles de Gaulle delivered his legendary appeal from London, encouraging the French people to fight the occupation. This speech became a symbol of resistance and a foundation for France’s later liberation. The €2 coin issued for the 70th anniversary of the event recalls its historic importance through a distinctive motif.
The coin is available in BU quality and elegantly packaged in a commemorative card.
