2 euro Luxembourg 2024 - Feiersteppler (BU coincard)

Luxembourg franc coins bearing the iconic “Feiersteppler” motif were introduced one hundred years ago and became a symbol of the national currency until the adoption of the euro. This legendary image of a worker with a hammer embodies Luxembourg’s industrial tradition and industrious spirit. To mark the centenary of this event, a special €2 coin was issued recalling the historic importance of Luxembourg’s currency.

The coin in BU quality is available in a card bearing the “horn” and “square” marks.
