2 euro San Marino 2015 - Dante (BU coincard)

In 2015, San Marino issued a €2 coin in honour of the 750th anniversary of the birth of Dante Alighieri, one of the most important poets in Italian literature. The coin bears a portrait of the author of the Divine Comedy, an epic work that influenced European culture and language. Dante’s literary legacy remains relevant centuries later, and his work is regarded as a foundation of Italian identity.

The coin is struck in BU quality and supplied in an official card with a thematic design.
