2 euro Finland 2009 - EMU (UNC)

The Finland 2 Euro Coin 2009 “10 Years of Economic and Monetary Union (EMU)” is issued in UNC quality as a single coin. The issue commemorates ten years of Economic and Monetary Union and the introduction of the euro. It formed part of a common commemorative issue by the euro-area countries, all using the same basic design adapted with the name of the respective issuing country.

The design by Greek sculptor George Stamatopoulos features a stylised human figure connected to the euro symbol. It represents the common currency as another step in the long process of European trade and economic integration.
