2 euro San Marino 2026 - Assisi (Proof)

The San Marino 2 Euro Coin 2026 “800th Anniversary of the Death of Saint Francis of Assisi” is issued in Proof quality. The issue is dedicated to Saint Francis of Assisi, founder of the Franciscan Order and one of the most important figures in Christian history.

Saint Francis of Assisi died in 1226, and his legacy is closely associated with humility, simplicity, helping the poor and respect for nature. The Proof finish highlights the design through the contrast between highly polished mirror-like fields and frosted relief details.
